Waxing Aftercare

Waxing Aftercare Guide
Thank you for choosing RiaBelle Beauty. To ensure the best results and prevent irritation, please follow the aftercare advice below.
What to Expect After Waxing
A normal skin reaction may include:
-
Red spots or bumps over the treated area
-
Slight swelling
-
Redness
These reactions are temporary and should subside within 24–48 hours.
First 24 Hours – Do’s and Don’ts
For the first 24 hours after your waxing treatment, please:
-
Take only lukewarm baths or showers if needed – avoid soaps as they may cause irritation.
-
Avoid heat treatments such as sunbeds, saunas, and sunbathing.
-
Do not wear tight clothing over the waxed area.
-
Avoid touching the treated skin.
-
Refrain from applying perfumed products, talc, self-tan, deodorant, or antiperspirant.
-
Do not apply makeup to the treated area for at least 12 hours.
Ongoing Aftercare Between Treatments
-
Begin gentle exfoliation 3 days after treatment and repeat regularly to remove dead skin cells and help prevent ingrown hairs.
-
Apply a light moisturiser daily to keep the skin soft and hydrated.
-
Avoid shaving between waxing treatments, as this disrupts hair growth cycles and reduces the effectiveness of waxing.
